Okay okay, I think I will try to make a major update now.... This goes all the way back to April 24th. I know, I said I wouldnt wait this long again, but its been a rough past couple of weeks and I just didnt feel like writing... so... lets see...

Thursday, April 24Today I planned on cleaning ALL day long. Jen, Jay and Chris are supposed to come this weekend, and the apartment was sorta a mess. Plus, I needed room for 3 people to sleep. As it turns out, I didnt need much room. So, in between cleaning, I start talking to Jay online. He is done with work, and just sitting around the house. He really didnt want to be home that night, for various reasons, so he asked if he could come out early. We talked for awhile, and we decided that he was going to come out a day earlier than Jen and Chris. So, furiously I try to clean the apartment, and finish about a half hour before he gets here. In that half hour, I decide that I need a new shower curtain liner, and I ran to Dollar Tree. I also wanted to get my car washed before he got here, but I didnt have that much time. So, I ran back to the apartment, and he is waiting for me in the parking lot. I take him upstairs and show off my apartment. He hasnt been out to visit in a long while, and not since I moved, so it was cool. Soon, we both decide that we are starving, and decide to go to Roadhouse Grill for dinner. But, before going to dinner, we stopped at the carwash and Jay washed my car! LOL I felt sorta dysfunctional cause I had never used one of those powerwash thingys, and its been a long time since I've seen my mom do it, so I wasnt so sure. My car was so dirty that we couldnt even get all the gunk off. Oh well. So, on we go to Roadhouse Grill. I got a yummy BBQ Pulled Pork sandwich, and Jay got steak. It looked so good! After we left Roadhouse, we drove around for a bit, I showed him where our friend Phil's new house is, and we also looked for some Home Depots. We didnt have much luck though LOL After that it was getting late, so we decided to just hang out at the apartment. We just had a few drinks, relaxed and played some darts. It was a pretty good night, and we conked out around 3:30am. :)

Friday, April 25 Surprisingly, Jay and I were up pretty early. I think it was most because of the sun streaming through the windows and making everything "super bright". Jay is craving his morning coffee, and I didnt have any in the apartment, so we decide to go to Dunkin Donuts. I got a bacon egg and cheese bagel and it was goooood. After stopping at Dunkin Donuts, we decided to drive around Niagara Falls, looking at things that have changed (Jay hadnt been up here in quite some time), and we drove down to school too. A lot has changed, and it was nice to remember what it was like there. We then drove around looking for various golf courses, cause we had talked about playing later that day when Jen and Chris showed up. After driving around Niagara Falls, we got back on the Island, and drove over to Beaver Island to look at their golf course. It isnt too bad, and its not really expensive at all. Then, we decide to go back to the apartment, but we go the LONG way, around the west side of the island, all the way over to the east side. We drove 3/4 of the way around the island, before finally making it back to my apartment, 2 hours after we first started our trip. It was a good time, and we talked a lot on our way. After arriving home, we showered and decided that we wanted to go rollerblading. We skated around the complex and we were out about a 1/2 hour before we were hurting. Neither of us had skated in awhile I think. When we got back to the apartment, we decided that Jay's van needed a wash too, so off we went to get it nice and clean. We had been talking to Jen and Chris off and on all day long, and they still werent anywhere near Buffalo yet, so when we got back from washing the van, we pulled out my old video game systems, and ended up playing Chip & Dale Rescue Rangers and Wheel of Fortune Jr. on the Nintendo.

Halfway through Wheel, Jen and Chris show up. Apparently they had been in Buffalo for awhile and wanted to surprise us. So, after finished our game, we decided to go to Niagara Falls. Chris hadnt been there since he was real young and couldnt really remember it, so off we went. We went over to Goat Island on the US side first, and then drove over to the Canadian side. We ended up eating at the Hard Rock Cafe in Casino Niagara, and walked around on Clifton Hill for awhile. We went into this 4D moving theatre that was pretty cool. One was with dinosaurs and i cant remember the other one. But it was neat, we had these 3D glasses, and the seats moved (hence, the 4D), and we loved it! Jay and Chris kept saying how they wanted to buy the moving seats (and I think they are actually determined to do so...) LOL After leaving the 4D theatre, we walked around for a bit more, and went to see the lights on the falls at night. They were so cool!

After leaving Niagara Falls (and our huge detour over the Whirlpool Bridge, since the Rainbow Bridge was closed to traffic coming into the states due to construction), we traveled to Buffalo to pick up Beth. Beth, Jay and I all went to school together, and she also knows Jen, so we all wanted to get together to hang out. We decided to go to Spot Coffee, so we went there for awhile. Things were sort of awkward though. We were all extremely tired, and no one really said much. I didnt notice too much, cause I was so exhausted, but Beth noticed and I felt bad when I found out how awkward she felt. We sat there for a couple of hours and drank our various drinks. I got a Mochacino, and it was way too coffee-like for me. So, Chris and I sat there adding like 16 packets of sugar to it. It tasted A LOT better then. I really dont like coffee all that much, the only time I really ever drank it was at NU with Jay. He'd make coffee in the morning and I'd stumble down to his room and we'd sit there and drink our coffee. Of course I'd add enough milk to it so that it was super light brown LOL After awhile we decided to leave, and took the long way back to Beth's house. She really didnt want to go home, but I wasnt sure what else to do, so we talked some on the way back and then dropped Beth off at her apartment.

By the time we got back to my apartment, we must have gotten our second wind or something, or maybe it was all the caffeine. But we ended up being awake til after 5am!! We had some drinks, and just sat around my dining table talking. Actually, there was a whole lot more laughing than talking. We had a blast!! I dont think I've ever had as much fun sitting around talking as I did that night! I cant even recall half the things we talked about, and the other half I probably cant repeat on here, but let me tell you... There were some interesting pictures!! We finally went to bed after 5am, all conked out in my living room (remember I said before how I didnt need much sleeping space??). Jen was on the couch, Chris and I slept on the floor, and Jay......... Jay decided that it was too bright in the morning in my apartment, and so he decided to sleep in the closet. Or rather, he was half sticking out of the closet. I have pictures and will post them later...

Saturday, April 26 Saturday morning we all finally got up around noon-ish. I was surprised we were up that early, but we had a big day ahead of us, and we needed to get a move on. After everyone showered and the guys ran to Dunkin Donuts, we finally left for African Lion Safari in Cambridge, Ontario. I hadnt been there since I was little, and the others have never been there, so off we went. We took Chris's Yukon, and since I knew where I was going, I got shotgun (YES!). It took about an hour to get there, and there wasnt much traffic, so it was a nice drive.

The first thing we did when we got there was buy our bus tickets. At African Lion Safari, you drive through these sections, and the animals are literally right there! There are no fences between you and the animals and they are free to climb all over your car, if they desire. Its really cool! So first, we took the bus through, cause Chris was a little nervous about driving his truck through (and rightly so! LOL). It was awesome. We saw lots of cool animals, bears, lions, tigers, baboons, giraffes, etc. The only animals that ended up climing on the bus were the baboons. They were so tiny, and there were some little babies too. After driving through the safari, Chris decided that he will take his truck through, so we went through again. Again, the baboons were the only thing to climb all over us. It was awesome! There was this one van nearby though that was hogging all of the baboons. We think they were feeding them. But, serves em right, cause the baboons were tearing the running boards (?) apart on the van LOL After getting through the safari, we decided to stay for the elepant swim! For this, they walk 15 or so elephants down to this huge pond, tail in trunk, and the elephants go for a swim! There were really big elephants and a bunch of baby elephants. They were SOOO cute!! And yes, I have pictures of this I will post as well. We watched until the elephants got out of the pond and walked back, and then we left.

Our next stop was Playdium in Mississauga. I have been there a few times, but no one else had. Playdium is this huge arcade with a lot of different things. To kill some time before Playdium because unlimited play didnt start til 8, we decided to go to Square One, this mall across the street. I have been there quite a few times and there is a lot to look at. I actually know my way around Mississauaga quite well, as this is where Phil used to live, and where I spent all of my time with him. So anyways, we go in through Wal-Mart, and go up the ramp-escalator type thing. Its an escalator, but in the form of a ramp so you can bring your carts up and down. So we go to the mall entrance, and its closed. We thought maybe it was just closed through Wal-Mart, so we walked outside and to the normal mall entrance, but no. The mall closed at 6pm. On a Saturday?? Canadians are funny that way I guess. So, we went over to Playdium and hungout there for 30 minutes or so until it was time to play.

We split up then, and Jen and I hung together, and Chris and Jay hung together and we played our own things. My favorite by far, and it always has been, is the Star Wars Episode 1 pod racing. I am really good at it, and the game is just really really cool. We did lots of things, like hanggliding and were firemen and all sorts of things! The place is pretty big and there is a lot to do. We didnt even get to the outdoors stuff, though it might have been closed since it was nighttime. I cant remember. We played until just after midnight, and then made the 45 minute trek home.

When we got home, Jen and I ran to the store for a few things. When we got back, Chris had decided that he was gonna head back to Syracuse since he had to be in Virginia (i think, i cant remember) on Sunday. So, he left around 2am, and Jen, Jay and I decided to play darts. Between darts and just being plain goofy, we were up until almost 6am. We had a lot of fun together!!

Sunday, April 27 Before I forget, this is my friend Andy P's 25th birthday... Happy (late) Birthday Andy! Okay, so we slept in Sunday morning, of course! Actually Jen was up around 10, and was showered and ready by the time Jay and I woke up around 12:30pm. The only thing that woke us up was Jay's phone ringing. While we were still waking up, Jen decided to run to Dunkin Donuts. She ended up bringing back drinks for Jay and I, which was cool!! After Jay took a brief nap, they decided that it was time to head out, around 3:30pm. Everyone had driven seperate cars, so Jen followed Jay back to Syracuse. I spent most of their travel time talking to Jen on the phone for a bit, and then text messaging Jay for the rest of the trip. Jay and Chris basically decided that they are coming back in a few weeks to hang out, and go to Canada for Chris and Jay's birthdays. I'm sure we'll have a blast then too!! I'm glad everyone had such a good time! I ran over to Tops and got a few Caesar Chicken Wraps (so yummy) and ate them for dinner. As for what I did the rest of the night, I dont remember at all. I was so tired.

Well, I think I am gonna end this here... It took me quite awhile to write and I'm sure it took you awhile to read... I copied and pasted it into a Word document just incase Diaryland gets funky, and it is 3 1/2 pages, single-spaced. Eek!! I will try and write more later, but trust me, this is about as interesting as my life has been lately. :)
